Happy Friday! Today I’m linking up with Andrea, Erika and Narci and sharing some of my favorite adoption moments from the last two weeks.

Announcing our adoption was definitely a favorite of mine over the last two weeks. There was a lot of anticipation leading up to the announcement and it was exciting to share with our friends and family.

Another favorite was all of the people that have reached out to us sharing that they were adopted as a child. There have been some people that I have known for years and never knew they were adopted. How awesome! We also had couples reach out to us that have been through the process recently and I LOVE hearing their stories. All adoption stories are different but it is always fun when you hear someone share their story and their happy ending. We are even meeting with a few of these couples over the next few weeks and I am super excited about that.

Sharing our crib story was a favorite as well. I was super excited to write that post because it was such an awesome God moment for us. We have already started cleaning out the guest bedroom so that we can turn it in to a nursery. Mom and I have a shopping trip planned for September and will be getting a few items for the nursery. It is starting to become VERY real to us that we will be bringing home a baby.
