Camden's First Panthers Sunday

I CANNOT believe we are halfway through September and are slowly making our way in to my absolute favorite season. I dreamed of what it would be like to have a baby during fall and football season and I'm trying real hard to not let our schedules get too jam packed to where we can't enjoy it. That gets hard when I have 3 birthday parties, 2 baby showers, and 1 wedding all within the next 10 days.
HELP ME JESUS!

Camden experienced his FIRST Panthers Sunday on September 9th and it was even better because we WON! The season opener was against Dallas and it was fun getting to dress up Cam in his Cam Newton jersey to match his daddy. I will say it was tough to actually enjoy the game because...
#crawling #teething #intoeverything

But seriously, watching a game with an 8 month old baby isn't quite the fun I was hoping it would be but we made it work. And Camden was the cutest little Panthers fan I've ever seen. I can't wait until he is old enough to go to games with us.

So here is to football, and fall, and doing all the fall things with our sweet boy and maybe next time I will make the pictures!
These truly are the days.

Thanksgiving 2017

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are having a tough time getting back in to the swing of things today. Craw and I had Friday off so we had a 4 day weekend and it was glorious. We kicked off Thanksgiving weekend by heading to see Craw's family on Wednesday night to eat. This was the dinner that GG always hosted and when she passed, Craw's mom took over the hosting duties. We had a great time seeing his extended family and enjoying a family fun game night. We headed back home later that night to prepare for Thanksgiving day.
We woke up Thursday morning and Craw made cinnamon rolls and we watched the Macy's Thanksgiving parade together. We usually make a butter braid but we sadly did not get one this year to cook on Thanksgiving morning. For lunch, we went to my Aunt Debbie's house and enjoyed lunch with all of my family. I sadly realized that we take lots of pictures with my family but not enough with Craw's family. We need to change that for Christmas.
Craw and I went back to his family's house Thursday night for another family dinner. Sadly, I did not take any pictures. We went Black Friday shopping super late Thursday night and we enjoyed our time. However, I got to a point where I lost all of my energy and all I wanted was my bed. Three Thanksgiving meals and driving back and forth will do that to you.
Friday we decorated for Christmas and I am loving my two new adoption ornaments from mom and Mama Teri.
For our anniversary, I bought Craw tickets to the State/UNC game. We went on Saturday and we had the BEST date day. That game was a little scary the first half but State pulled out the WIN.
We finished out the weekend with a low key day on Sunday. I snapped this picture of sweet Hank and it is for sure one of my new favorites. Craw and I talked about how this is hopefully our last Thanksgiving as a family of three. Next year, we hope to have a little baby tagging along with us and we absolutely cannot wait!

Birthday Weekend Recap

Friday was the McLamb Tacky Christmas Shindig. We had a blast and enjoyed spending time with our precious friends.
Check out Sara and Matthews tree. The picture does not do it justice. I told her I was hiring her to come help with mine next year.
Some of my favorite girls.
Yes, my husband has the cheesiest smile.

Saturday we woke up and took our time packing for our much anticipate road trip. I gave Crawford tickets to see the Panthers play Cleveland as a wedding present. I also booked us a room in downtown Charlotte and gave him a Cam Newton jersey.
**Major brownie points**

We left for Charlotte around 1 on Sarurday but we had to stop for Starbucks first. Rebekah introduced me to a Caramel Apple Spice and it is out of this world amazing!!

I just love Charlotte.

For dinner, we went to the Carolina Ale House since it was a block away from our hotel. We then went to the EpiCentre and spent the rest of the night at the Tin Roof listening to a band from Nashville, TN. It was the perfect way to kick off my birthday.

Sunday was the best day ever. We woke up and checked out of the hotel and went to Panera Bread for lunch. My FAVE! We then headed to the Panthers game versus the Cleveland Browns. It was our first NFL game and we had a blast!!

We decided that the Panthers would be the one team we both pull for since we can't agree on NCAA teams. I was not a football fan before Crawford. I just didn't understand it. One thing about dating a Bolton- you will learn to like football. Actually, you will learn to like ALL sports because that is what they live and breathe. Being in that stadium was amazing and completely different than watching a game on TV!

Something tells me we will be taking many trips to Charlotte in our lifetime. We hope to make it to at least one game a season. I truly had the best birthday weekend. Every day is a new adventure with the man I love and I have never been happier.
