Photo Dump | Life Lately

Catching up on photos I missed over the last 2 months with a gigantic photo dump of life lately.

We love the Hutchens and Camden loves them too. He thinks Luke is hilarious and cackles at everything he does.

Is there anything cuter than baby dimples and a hat?

Safe to say Camden is obsessed with his Pappy.

Camden loves riding his little trike as well as the car at Pizza Inn. I can't believe he is big enough for these.

We love getting daycare pictures. The pirate day pictures made me laugh so hard.

Family is everything. Camden has really started to notice his family and I love that he recognizes them now. He loves his Mimi, Lulu, Pappy, and Papa Al so much. He lights up every time he sees them. He also loves his aunts and uncles. Hopefully I can catch up on pictures with everybody soon.

He loves to sit in the front seat with me when we have to kill time in a parking lot. He especially loves my keys and the steering wheel.

He loves his brother so very much.

We loved celebrating Hudson's first birthday. Hard to believe Camden will be 1 in 3 short months.

He also loved celebrating Anna Blake's birthday.

He likes to suck on his bottom lip and it is the cutest thing ever.

One Friday night Camden was tired so we made a little pallet for him in the living room and he loved laying on Mama's pillow and watching TV.

It melted my heart when his daddy got in the floor to lay with him. They laid like that for a while.

Another hospital stay for me this month and it was sure nice when I got back home to my baby.

Lulu's team is going to the World Series so we had to represent by wearing Boston attire to daycare.

Testing out his new car seat.

Wearing some Halloween attire. I didn't have the heart to tell him that he wasn't very scary.

Working on his ROAR for Halloween. I told him he had to stop smiling if he wanted to be a ferocious lion but he wasn't interesting in being ferocious.

And that's a wrap on life lately.

Camden's First Pumpkin Patch

Taking my baby to the pumpkin patch is another one of those moments I dreamed of last year and I can't believe it is our reality this year. Craw and I would always go and pick out a pumpkin in years past but we never did the actual hayride/fall things. This year, I knew I wanted to take Camden so I ended up taking him on a Saturday when Craw was out of town.

I promise to share the good and the bad in this space so I'm going to be REAL honest. IT WAS NOT LIKE I DREAMED. The first mistake was taking Camden by myself. We did meet Kat and AB out there but I didn't have extra hands to help with Camden since Kat was doing things with AB. The second mistake was wearing fall clothes on a 90-95 degree day. It was HOT. The third mistake was not taking my stroller. I had to physically carry Camden everywhere we went and it was tough because HELLO...he's 22 pounds. By the end, he was tired, I was tired, and we CRASHED. However, I did get some really good pictures that we can look back on and smile and remember the memories we created.

I'm hoping to go to the pumpkin patch one more time before the season ends so that Craw can go with us. The temps have cooled off some so I think it will be a much better experience. I really do love creating new memories with Camden and I at least have some really awesome pictures to show for our time at the pumpkin patch. Camden also took home a small pumpkin that he LOVES rolling all over the house.

Welcome to the world, Avery Alice

Avery Alice

7 pounds 7 ounces
20 inches

Craw and I are Aunt and Uncle to the most precious niece in the world. Her birth was an adventure for sure. Craw and I got to the hospital around 3:00 pm to await the arrival of our first niece. We knew it may be a long night but we were prepared. In the end, it didn't work out for us to see her the day she was born but that's okay because we got to see her the next day and she was a perfect angel.

Casey and Danielle told us they were expecting while we were in Florida to get Camden. Casey called us on FaceTime and said "I love how you look as a dad so I decided I wanted to be one myself." It was so perfect and also crazy to think in ONE week we went from no babies to 2 babies in the fam. We all wondered what little Avery would be and in May we found out she would be a GIRL! That was fun for sure as there are very few girls in Craws family. In fact, only one girl grandbaby.

I love that Camden and Avery will grow up so close in age. Family is everything to us so we love Avery as if she were our own. We are so excited for the holidays this year and I'm already planning out matching Christmas Eve pajamas for them. Camden hasn't taken too much interest in Avery yet but he LOVES to play with her toys when he visits Aunt D and Uncle Case. Also, Avery and Camden look strikingly similar as newborns. That is a God thing for sure.

We love you, sweet Avery!
