Christmas Eve 2019

We were extremely blessed this year in that I had Christmas Eve off. This allowed us to head to Louisburg earlier in the day to spend time with Craws family. We always do Christmas Eve in Louisburg and Christmas Day in Wilson. It seems to work out the best for our family and it allows Cam to wake up to Santa gifts in his house and have time to play with all the gifts without having to rush.

Christmas was truly special this year because Camden "sort of" understood it and his eyes sparkled at the magic of Christmas. He still doesn't grasp all the details but he recognizes Santa and he knows Santa says "ho ho ho" although he did NOT like sitting on his lap.

We arrived in Louisburg around 2 and immediately went outside to check out all of the blow up yard decorations. Cam especially loved the paw patrol one and kept hugging it. We had a delicious prime rib dinner and enjoyed spending the evening with family opening gifts. Cam and Avery were so cute together and its crazy how big they are both getting. It was a truly special Christmas Eve followed by Craw and I having so much fun playing Santa when we got home.

December Recap {Pre-Christmas}

December was a jam packed month and I am way behind on posts. I will break Christmas Eve and Christmas Day down in to individual posts but here is a recap of what we did leading up to Christmas.

Ornament exchange at Olive Garden with our Connect ladies. One of my favorite nights of the year.

Jammy Cocoa Christmas 2019

We decided to have our Jammy Cocoa Christmas at Kelly's house since it is the bigger house and it was so much.

Casey, Danielle, and Avery came up to Wilson for some Christmas fun and we took the kids to the Whirligig park. They had fun running around but it sure was COLD. We ended up getting loaded fries, hotdogs, and funnel cakes and watches the tree lighting from Craws office. We then took the kids to ride the train and had a BLAST.

Donuts are his favorite :)

I got some good snuggles from my niece for my birthday

We celebrated my birthday with mine and Craw's family and it was fun. I still can't believe I'm 30 now. Craw and I ended the night at the Plus dueling piano bar in Raleigh and we got a hotel in downtown. It was a great birthday.

We finally rode the Train of Lights with mom and dad

September Life Lately

I am trying to get this space updated but there are SO MANY PICTURES. We've also done so many fun things as a family that deserve their own post. So before I dive in to the fun events, I wanted to provide a September life lately so that I'm semi caught up.

Slides were a big hit this summer.

We were able to meet Miss Logan Kate in September. Cam kept pointing to her and saying "baby" but was otherwise unaware that I was holding her.

Lulu and Papa got a pool this summer and we were finally able to enjoy it. We had so much fun swimming with the family and can't wait to enjoy it even more next summer.

Cam loves Uncle Coop...especially since he kept pushing him in his car.

Our best friends found out they would be welcoming their FOURTH boy to the word in March. We were hoping for a girl but now it's so fun to know there is a fourth boy on the way. We love him so much already.

First day of Football so you know we had to rep the Panthers. I can successfully say Cam knows how to say "lets go" and almost has "keep pounding" down pat.

Daycare pictures make me very happy.

Fun with AB and Logan

Craw reading a book to Carter and Camden one night

I had to entertain Cam while Craw was in a long checkout line at Walmart so I took him over to the bikes. He still has another year before he can ride it but he loved sitting on it while I pushed him.

Sweet Avery Alice turned one.  I cannot believe she is already one but she had the CUTEST Avery Alice in ONEderland themed party.

Cam didn't understand why she got the cake and he didn't so he told her he would help her out.

I can't wait to see how these two grow together. I can tell that Avery is always interested in whatever Cam is doing but Cam doesn't seem as interested in Avery. I think once they are a little older and can truly play together, it will be perfect.

Cam giving Mrs. Nancy some loving. I will forever cherish this picture as Mrs. Nancy doesn't have very many days left. I will always remember the tea parties she would throw for Hillary and I as we would get dressed up in our Sunday best with big hats and pearls. It's so sweet to see her loving on my baby.

Cam loves him some Big Pa. This is special to me as well and I'm so thankful for the role he plays in Cam's life.
